Pierrick Naud

Pierrick NAUD's drawings are riddled with clues, they multiply transparencies and superimpositions creating bizarre movements, slow levitations, troubling metamorphosis... The characters he draws interbreed with anatomic, animal or mechanical forms, stretching out, hiding or darkening in surprising mutations. The artist mixes humor, humanity and poetry in the elegant, confident and sometimes faded charcoal lines. His drawings are like thought stretchings, multiplying strata, mixing them in a nice confusion, unveiling a rich, complex, particularly elusive human menagerie.
